What amount should I set as my share capital?
Share capital represents the total value of the shares issued by a company and is a key component of a company's equity. Determining the appropriate amount for your share capital is crucial. Have you considered the growth potential of your business? Setting a fair share capital can help you attract investors, secure funding and enhance credibility.
Setting the Share Capital on our platform
The minimum share capital in our company formation process is 1.000 €.
Our Cyprus limited formation package includes stamp duties for share capital between 1.000 € and 30.000 €. For share capital higher than this, we will pass the additional stamp fees on to you. The exact stamp fees are automatically calculated and displayed. For example, the passed stamp duty for 2.000.000 € share capital will be only 140 €.
If you don't plan any initial investments and generate guaranteed income, you can set the share capital to 1.000 €. We recommend choosing a share capital that can be easily divided by the number of shareholders, respectively by the percentages of their shares.
